Terms of Service

Last updated: 1 August 2026

These Terms govern access to and use of the Sentinely website and service, provided by Purple IT s.r.l., Perugia (PG), Italy — VAT IT01881930661 ("we"). By creating an account or using the service you accept these Terms.

1. The service

Sentinely ingests DMARC aggregate reports and provides analysis, a protection score, alerts, digests, exportable reports and a read-only public API.

Sentinely is an analysis tool. It does not send, filter or reroute your email, and it does not publish or modify your DNS records. Recommendations are informative: acting on them is your decision and your responsibility.

Some free tools on our website — such as the email header analyser — are provided without an account, as-is, and retain nothing: what you paste is analysed and discarded.

2. Accounts

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, for the security of your credentials, and for the activity of the users you invite to your organisation.

3. Acceptable use

You agree to use Sentinely only for domains you are authorised to manage, and not to misuse, disrupt or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the service.

Sharing reports by email. The service lets you email a report to recipients you choose, sent from our sending domain. You are responsible for having a legitimate reason to contact those recipients. Because those messages leave from our domain, abuse damages the email deliverability of every other customer. We apply per-send limits and rate limits, we keep a record of each send, and we may suspend this feature — or the account — where we detect abuse.

4. Plans, billing and taxes

Plans are described at sign-up. Prices are in EUR and exclude VAT. Payments are handled by Stripe or PayPal, depending on the method you choose at checkout; we never see or store your full payment credentials. Annual billing is charged as ten monthly instalments.

Plans may include usage limits (for example the number of domains, users, or processed messages) and optional add-ons. Where a plan is agreed individually, the agreed terms prevail over the published price list.

Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period; access continues until then.

5. Free plan and trials

A free plan and trial periods may be offered, with reduced limits that we may change for future periods. Reaching a limit restricts the corresponding feature; it never deletes data that has already been collected.

6. Your data

You retain all rights to your data. We process the personal data contained in your DMARC reports as your processor, under our Privacy Policy and DPA. Retention follows the period of your plan.

You may permanently delete a domain and all of its data at any time. That deletion is irreversible.

7. Availability and support

We aim for continuous availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Maintenance, third-party failures and force majeure may cause interruptions. Support is provided by email at info@sentinely.eu.

8. Suspension

We may suspend an account for non-payment, for breach of these Terms, or where required by law. Where circumstances allow, we give notice first.

9. Liability

The service is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited as set out in this section — *[da completare con l'avvocato: massimale, esclusione dei danni indiretti, deroghe imperative]*.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. Substantial changes are notified at least 30 days in advance, and continued use after they take effect constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by Italian law. Competent court: Tribunale di Perugia (PG).
